IMMFI - The Inocencio Magtoto Memorial Foundation, Inc.

The Inocencio Magtoto Memorial Foundation, Inc. is a family initiated institution responding to childhood disability prevention, early detection and intervention in the province of Pampanga. It was established on November 16, 1991 by the family of the late Inocencio Magtoto to fulfill his dream of equal rights and opportunities for the poor and the less fortunate.

IMMFI recognizes that any form of impairment affects the growth, learning and development of a child. And yet children with disabilities are deprived of equal rights and opportunities to develop their maximum potential because of various economic, political, socio-cultural and environmental barriers.

Welcome to our new Web Site!

As you may have noticed, we’ve given IMMFI website a bit of a facelift. In addition to the new site being easier to read and navigate, it is also much easier for us to update. This means that we will be able to add fresh news and information about IMMFI on a regular basis. All updates and information will be posted to our homepage “Latest News” link below. You can also click on the “News” link from the menu bar.

Even though a lot of work has gone into the new site, there’s still much work left to do. We have a lot of archival information about past projects, events, gallery and IMMFI history which we’ll be adding to the site in the weeks and months to come. We’ll also be announcing our 2008 projects & events soon. Likewise, we will be also adding information about the very exciting line-up of upcoming projects & events we have planned.

Pook Munting Ningning : Puppets On Tour

IMMFI and the City of San Fernando sponsored the Pook Munting Ningning: Puppets on Tour of the National Council for the Welfare of Disabled Persons last November 16-17, 2006. The puppets toured the three (3) clusters of the city's day care centers. It was an enjoyable and at the same time a very educational way of promoting proper attitudes towards those with disabilities among children, teachers and parents at the 32 day care centers in the city.
